Erin Baker
Young Explorers Preschool was founded in June, 2016 by Erin Baker, M.A. Erin has an extensive background in early childhood, completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development at California State University, Fresno and her Master’s Degree from University of California, Santa Barbara in Education, with and emphasis in Early Childhood and Adolescent Development, specializing in Early Childhood Development. She completed her Master’s Thesis in the Outdoor Classroom where her passion resides in teaching children outdoors and feels that, between discovering their interests and teaching in an outdoor classroom setting, children learn best. Erin has fulfilled many managerial positions from Lead Classroom Teachers to Education Coordinator to Assistant Directors at both Non-Profit and Corporate sectors.
Brittany Justh
Brittany began working with Young Explorers Preschool as a sub and became a full time teacher in April 2018. She comes to us from the Saugus Union School District, with a background in Early Childhood Education. She worked with SUSD for 10 years as an after school counselor, preschool teacher and teacher trainer. She has 28 units in Early Childhood Education and is CPR and First Aid certified, amongst completing various other trainings. She has experience in curriculum development and implementation, as well as, classroom management. Brittany comes to us highly recommended by her supervisors, is a team player, flexible and most importantly well received by your children!
